10 Snekonds
You’re an operator of high-tech, bleeding edge linear swarm of multi-purpose robotic vehicles, commonly referred to as “Snake”.
Usually driving this thing is fun, but a mysterious Pyramid is shooting at you every 10 seconds, forcing your last vehicle to detach and misbehave. Frankly, this makes it even more fun somehow, but you still need to win!

Amazing art, but kind of a frustrating experience to play. This would be a great framework to build minigames around. I like the dashing to kill stuff, but turning it into a boss fight/puzzle was more work than you even had to do. Just pit two snakes against each other and that's enough for lots of fun. Add more minigames!! and this would be a super fun experience.
That and a bit of QOL.
This dev has shown they can do amazingly with the latest GMTK 2025 entry they've made, so i'm sure they have the experience.
Why only arrow keys and Z instead of WASD and space? Those controls are much more standardized and you can have both with such a simple control scheme.
Also show, not tell. The tutorial opening every time is very annoying and it could just be opened with a ? button and the game can be designed to show how to play.
I think at first we should get a slower speed too which ramps up to the current speed, just to ease off the learning players at the start of a round.
Thing is we make our games for jams and we do not have enough manpower and time to polish them afterwards and make post-jam updates to make games less of jam experience and more of a proper games
This one, specifically, is one of our first jam games where we were only learning (well, we still learn something new every jam, but you get what I mean)
Understandable, it did cross my mind that you might not have had the time, considering i struggle with this a lot, getting distracted on many projects and not finishing specific ones definitively. Thank you for the reasoning and best of wishes with future projects!
